Potent full inverse agonist for the ghrelin receptor (EC50 = 5.2 nM); diminishes constitutive ghrelin receptor signaling. Also antagonist at tachykinin, bradykinin, CCK and bombesin receptors. Induces apoptosis and inhibits cancer cell growth in vitro.
